The America 250 celebration in Atchison is a community effort. There are many ways to participate and help make this historic event a success.
Want to join the parade?
The theme for the parade is "Important Moments in American History." Prizes will be given to the top parade applicants.
Groups interesting in joining the parade are encouraged to apply. The deadline for applying is June 1, 2026.
Volunteer
Volunteers help make community celebrations possible. If you'd like to assist with event support, logistics, or helping guests during the celebration, we'd love to hear from you!
